Overview of MiRIA System
The MiRIA system is a proteome analysis method that enables the simultaneous analysis of hundreds of samples by miniaturizing and integrating immunoblots. Enabling to check the molecular weight information of protein with electrophoresis, it can secure high reliability compared with the conventional protein chip analysis method (RPPA; Reverse Phase Protein Array).
An automated system using a kit and a dedicated instrument to implement MiRIA by hand is provided.
A system in which hundreds of samples are electrophoresed on a single polyacrylamide gel and then, immunoblotting using one kind of antibody is performed. It can be used for the analysis of clinical samples, compound libraries for the development of new drugs, and RNAi libraries
